VOLVO V70 WAGON | VOLVO V70 reliability review - In some respects, Volvo has not gained greatly from redesigning this automobile. The chassis, though improved over the previous V70’s, is still unexceptional, and also the new interior, though better finished, isn't conclusively additional convenient.

You can, however, create a strikingly attractive cabin with the wide choice of interior decoration, and the V70 remains as sensible – and safe – as ever, with a fine alternative of choices. Like all good Volvos, this can be a reassuringly pleasant car that delivers where it counts. it's not a large step ahead over the previous V70, however that was a very good estate, and this new edition is (just) an improved one.
If you have a family, lug lots of stuff and need a secure, high-quality wagon that’s a pleasure to live with, then the V70 ought to be high up your shortlist. Its usefulness and convenience will presently appear indispensable, whereas its safety systems and aura of strong good quality will repeatedly remind you that you have bought a durable beast of burden.

Yet this is no frill-free mule, being tastefully trimmed and equipped with exceptional seats and high standards of equipment. If you want a sports estate look elsewhere, and the same applies if you can’t accept the (light) grumblings of a stout(ish) diesel.
But the elephant in the space is quite an oversized one: the Skoda excellent estate. It operates in the E-class-for-the-masses territory that Volvo once claimed as its own. Still, with this in mind, there is likely to be more than some V70s cluttering up showrooms, therefore if you can get a good deal, then do not overlook the dirty V70 in the corner.
