2016 VOLVO S60 | VOLVO S60 polestar test drive performance review - In addition to an array of recent alloy wheel selections, two new variants have been added to the 2016 Volvo S60: the cross country and also the Inscription. The volvo S60 cross country could be a raised sedan with 7.9 inches of ground clearance, standard all-wheel drive, and body cladding to make it a lot of rugged. in the range-topping platinum trim, the S60 cross country is only available in one exterior color, osmium grey metallic. The S60 Inscription is a long-wheelbase variant with 2.9 inches of additional legroom in the rear seats and is a lot of upscale. standard features include Walnut inlays, silk-finish metal accents, interior accent lighting, a power rear sunshade, 18-inch alloy wheels, and Inscription-branded kick plates.

The 2016 Volvo S60 could be a compact luxury sports sedan available in front- or all-wheel-drive configurations. A wagon variant referred to as the V60 is also available.

- Engine and Transmission: Turbocharged 3.0-liter I-6 – six-speed automatic

There’s respectable space for four passengers within the S60, however, taller people should avoid the rear seats since there’s restricted headroom. Trunk area is on the little facet, with only 12 cubic feet of volume but it will be expanded via the standard 60/40 split-folding rear seats.
Despite its age, the 2016 S60 remains a great choice for people who don’t use their rear seats too much. in a 2015 S60 T6 Drive-E first test review, we have a tendency to said that the new super- and turbocharged I-4 provides lots of power and a sizable fuel economy improvement over the turbo-six-equipped S60. when it comes to handling, the S60 also impresses with its agility despite being front-wheel drive. The new four-cylinders’ engine note, however, aren’t as satisfying as that of the turbo-six.
In a 2015 first Drive of the S60 polestar and its wagon counterpart, the V60 polestar, we have a tendency to were impressed by how agile it's despite being front heavy. we have a tendency to said that the car was as agile as smaller cars and felt surefooted and poised, with little tendency to understeer. Despite the more aggressive suspension setup, there’s little sacrifice to comfort, preserving the car’s usability as a daily driver. However, the extra performance means a louder cabin because of excessive road noise.
